Lady Falcons cop PWBL title

Lady Falcons cop PWBL title

ADAMSON University added the Burlington-BioFresh Cup of the Philippine Women’s Basketball League to its growing list of titles by downing Lyceum-Jaguars, 67-65, recently at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.

Backed by Northern Samar, the Lady Falcons leaned on the steady hands of playing coach Emelia Vega to beat the Lady Pirates for the second straight time and win the best-of-three title series, 2-1.

Vega, a many-time member of the RP team, calmly hit two pressure-packed charities with barely a second left to power the Lady Falcons to victory in the event sponsored by LWUA chairman Butch Pichay, Gov. JunJun Ynares of Rizal, Burlington Philippines and BioFresh.

“It was a very close call, but we have to follow the rule which states that any last second action that may decide the outcome of the game must be reviewed on available video replay to ensure that correct decision is made” said Commissioner Nilo C. Fernandez. “It took some time to get the clear picture of the situation but what’s important is that correct call was implemented.”

Lyceum took Game 1, 75-72, but Adamson evened the series by taking Game 2, 76-68, in the event also supported by Wilson, Everlast, Foton, Moldex, Atlanta , Nation, GSIS, PAGCOR, PCSO, Province of Northern Samar , Asics shoes and Molten – the official ball of PWBL.

Highlights of the championship game will be aired on Thursday at 10:30 p.m. on Basketball TV.

Business Administration Building

This hallway is actually a part of Saint Theresa Building, but some Business Administration students call this part of the building as Business Administration Building.

John Perboyre Building and the Francis Regis Clet Building

So this is the road inside Adamson that will lead you to the two least popular buildings around the school compund; the John Perboyre Building and the Francis Regis Clet Building. He he. :)

Took this photo last Saturday, after my NSTP-CWTS 1 class.

Cardinal Santos Walkway

This is the Cardinal Santos Walkway. Probably the busiest spot inside the school. Paboritong tambayan ‘to! Especially of the Engineering students. During my very first semester in college (actually, last year lang. He he. Feeling matanda lang. LOL), I was an ECE dude. And this walkway was our favorite spot. Presko eh! And we watch UAAP games here, too.

Pero no’ng nagshift ako ng course, wala na. 3/4 of my classes, na sa Saint Theresa Building na.

But this, this walkway, is still a special spot for me (secret ko na lang kung bakit)! LOL ang arte. :D

‘Tis is the last Adamson picture that I have here. ROFLOL.
