Adamson and Ateneo defeat rivals in UAAP women’s volleyball
MANILA, Philippines—Adamson University and Ateneo de Manila University handily defeated respective foes on Wednesday in the 73rd UAAP Women’s Volleyball tournament to finally complete the final four cast at the Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan.
The Lady Falcons finished off the Lady Bulldogs in four sets, 25-15, 25-16, 9-25, 25-19 while the Lady Eagles romped the Lady Warriors, 25-15, 25-14, 25-14.
Adamson and Ateneo booked the last two semi-final slots, joining league-leading La Salle and defending champion UST with the eliminations nearing its end.
