Last year, over 90,000++ full version Microsoft software
were distributed to students around the country – from Manila to Bacolod and
even as far as Cagayan de Oro. This year, the Microsoft Academic Team in
partnership with the Microsoft Student Partners will again launch an
anti-piracy campaign – BurnFest 2011:
Work, Play, Learn. LEGALLY!
Burn Fest 2011, is a follow up to last year’s OctoBURNfest
where Microsoft Student Partners promote the use of legal, genuine Microsoft
software. Through academic programs like MSDNAA and DreamSpark, students and faculty are given easy access to
the latest Microsoft software which they can use in their studies. And as part
of the fest, the Microsoft Student Partners will be doing technical sessions to train students
on how to fully utilize the developer and designer tools and help them develop
the skills to get the right job and power to change the world.
BurnFest 2011 highlights include:
